Still haven’t figured out what you’re doing this Halloween around the big apple? We’ve got you covered! NYC is full of Halloween fiestas, parades, and events to help in celebrating the haunted holiday:
New York Haunted Hayride - Randall’s Island
October 30th & 31st
Not for the faint of heart, the New York Haunted Hayride is set to terrorize all who dare enter. Originating in L.A., this attraction has set up shop here in Randall’s Island. Climb aboard a tractor drawn hay wagon and go through enchanted portals of ghostly apparitions, demonic possessions, orphanages of burnt children, psychopathic clowns of the night, and MUCH more.
Blood Manor - Varick St NY
October 30th - November 1st
New York City’s Premier Haunted Attraction has three more terror filled days for your enjoyment. Tonight, the inmates of the manor have plenty of surprised planned for their guests, tomorrow the manor welcomes attendees of the NYC Halloween Parade, and Sunday the manor returns from 6pm - 10pm with a student discount.
Village Halloween Parade - Manhattan
October 31st
The 42nd annual Halloween Parade will begin at 7 pm Saturday, taking place along Sixth Avenue between Spring Street and 16th Street. Expecting to bring up to 50,000 people together, anyone in costume is welcome to participate! The festivities will include hundred of puppets, bands, live music, dancers, and of course - tens of thousands of costumed New Yorkers.
The Seance - Highlight Studios NY
October 30th & 31st
Over the typical haunted house tour? Take a seat with 12 strangers and join host Jason Suran for an evening of intimate terror. The event will take you on a journey through the history of the sèance and attempt to set foot over the boundary that separates the world of the living from the dead. But don't be scared. There's no such thing as ghosts ... right?
Central Watch wishes everyone a happy and SAFE Halloween! And remember, daylight savings time is in effect this Sunday! Remember to turn your clocks BACK an hour for extra sleep. Having trouble resetting your timepieces? Stop by our shop next week and we’ll adjust the times for you on the house!
