Bruce Lee is remembered for being one of the greatest martial artists of all time, even after his death over 40 years ago. This past year he would have been 75 years old and to celebrate his life, Hublot has created a masterful timepiece in his honor.
The special edition Bruce Lee Hublot is a part of the coveted ‘Spirit of Big Bang’ series. With a new self-winding chronograph system, this timepiece will stay powered as you wear it with the addition of a 50- hour power reserve. The main colors of the watch are black and yellow -- the favorites of Bruce Lee. These colors are donned throughout the entirety of the watch, including the alligator leather and rubber strap.
While the wristwatch as a whole is a wonderful mix of beauty and eccentricity, the dial and its backside are what make it truly special. The quinntessential dragon emblem that Lee made famous lies on the face of the dial. On the reverse side, the watch features a clear back so that the inner workings are visible. On this glass piece there is a red silhouette of Lee doing his signature mid-air pose with “75” printed underneath.
How much does this limited edition memorial cost? Only 235,000 dollars -- Hong Kong dollars that is. Convert that to USD and it will only run you a mere $35,000.
