HOLIDAY CONTEST: Grand Central Terminal Memories
Since 1952, we’ve been lucky enough to call Grand Central Terminal our home. Through all that time, we’ve made some pretty amazing memories here - from witnessing the massive restoration of the terminal to adding our own state of the art workshop (which we recently expanded).
That said, we realize Grand Central is more than just a commuter hub and know that many of you have made memories of your own here that are bound to last a life time. And we want to hear about them!
That said, we realize Grand Central is more than just a commuter hub and know that many of you have made memories of your own here that are bound to last a life time. And we want to hear about them!
So now through Thursday, December 17th, please share your favorite Grand Central Terminal Memory with us for a chance to win a Mondaine Evo watch!
About Mondaine:
Being on time is important, even more so for passenger trains. In 1944, Hans Hilfiker (1901-1993), a Swiss engineer, designer and employee of the Federal Swiss Railways, created a clock which has since become known as the “Official Swiss Railways Clock.” It ensures all trains run on time and that all stations show exactly the same time. These clocks are now not only found in Switzerland but around the world at train stations, airport terminals, offices, and on wrists as well!
Thus - we wanted to gift the official watch of the railways to ONE lucky person, sharing their nearest and dearest Grand Central Terminal memory - fitting no?
