Dive Watch Wednesday - 3 Top Dive Watches for 2015

Whether or not you are preparing to take a plunge, dive watches are some of the most eye-catching and hardworking pieces you could have in your watch collection. Ideal for water activities as well as the boardroom, it’s no wonder brands focused on dive watches at this year’s Baselworld. See below for some of the most standout pieces showcased this year:

Aquaracer 300m Calibre 16 by TAG Heuer - The new Aquaracer 300m Ceramic shares the same 43mm case as the steel bezel model, however the cyclops over the date window has returned. Additionally there are new hour and minute hands, a new running seconds hand, and redesigned hour-markers that are larger and highly polished. As for straps, choose between the traditional Aquaracer steel bracelet or a newly introduced nylon strap. Models include a Ceramic Bezel Steel, Ceramic Black Titanium, Black Phantom Titanium, and Ceramic Bezel Steel with a blue dial and bezel. SRP: $4,450 - $5,200.

Heritage Diver 1967 Chronograph by Longines - Based on a design from Longines’ back catalog, this new dive watch features many similar traits - from the black opaline dial to the tachymeter scale and lop-sided sub dial layout. This diver has a 42mm-wide steel case with bordeaux aluminum bezel featuring a dive time scale and 12-hour scale for quick view of another timezone. Water resistant to 300m, the watch comes with either a steel bracelet (double folding clasp with dive extension), a black alligator leather strap, or a black rubber strap with a fold over clasp and dive extension. SRP: $3,150.
