Grand Central's Summer Send-Off Next Week!

 
Unfortunately, summer is coming to a close and what better way to bid farewell than with a good old fashioned send-off! Grab the kids, the "kids at heart", and all your friends to hang out and send summer off with a smile.

This three day event will include performances and activities for the whole family - plus daily raffles and free gifts with a $5 food purchase. Check out the full schedule below:

Wednesday, August 24th

Food Vendors:
  • Ceriello Fine Foods, Jacques Torres Ice Cream, Li-Lac Chocolates, Oren’s Daily Roast, and Zaro’s Family Bakery
Activities:
  • Make your own sock creatures at LittleMissMatched and head to Kidding Around Toys for face painting, kids crafts, and giveaways.
Entertainment:
  • 11:30am - 12:30pm Tim Kubart and his Loog Guitar. Grammy award winner Tim Kubart will play a free mini concert for all kids and kids-at-hearts!
  • 1:30pm - 2:30pm “Jam to the Music” program presented by Brooklyn’s Children Museum. Bring the kids so they can explore instruments from BCM’s Collection and learn more about music making, movement, and rhythm!
Thursday, August 25th
Food Vendors:
  • Ceriello Fine Foods, Li-Lac Chocolates, Oren’s Daily Roast, Shake Shack, and Zaro’s Family Bakery
Activities:
  • Make your own sock creatures at LittleMissMatched and head to Kidding Around Toys for face painting, kids crafts, and giveaways.

  • Make your own sock creatures at LittleMissMatched and head to Kidding Around Toys for face painting, kids crafts, and giveaways. Also, with a donation - receive a massage or hair braiding at Aveda.
Entertainment:
  • 11:30am - 12:30pm “Jam to the Music” program presented by Brooklyn’s Children Museum. Bring the kids so they can explore instruments from BCM’s Collection and learn more about music making, movement, and rhythm!
  • 1:30pm - 2:30pm “Broadway Hour” featuring musical performances by Something Sotten! and Kinky Boots AND an interactive School of Rock Photo Booth
