Wright Meets English: The Bremont Wright Flyer
After years of thousands of offers from highly, reputable watch companies - the Wright family has collaborated with Nick and Giles English’s brand Bremont to develop the Wright Flyer watch.
Over the last few years, the English brothers have made unique and well-designed pieces by including rare, historical material along the subjects of aviation and British history. The Wright Flyer is no different. This timepiece features the holy grail of aviation: Wilbur and Orville Wright’s original airplane, the first machine ever to fly!
According to Forbes,
“The movement’s rotor for automatic winding – which is the part visible through the sapphire crystal window of the case back – boasts a small piece of the original muslin wing fabric the Wright brothers used in the first powered aircraft, which flew for several seconds in 1903 on a beach in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, forever making history.”These limited edition watches have a price of: $25,950 stainless steel, $39,995 rose gold, and $44,995 for white gold. The royalties the Wright Family Foundation will collect from the sales will help the institution conserve artifacts, support museums, help authors write books, and whatever else is needed in preserving the history of aviation.
