An Inside Look at Central Watch
Founded in 1952 by Max Kivel - Central Watch is one of the oldest businesses operating out of Grand Central (with the Oyster Bar being the only one there longer). Three generations of Kivels later - the once tiny, one stall repair shop, now occupies five of the stalls set into the wall of the 45th Street Passageway AND a state of the art workshop located on one of the station’s upper floors!
We have spent the last 60+ years earning and maintaining our reputation as New York City’s premier watch repair service. We continue to provide the highest quality watch repair and exemplary customer service at reasonable prices. Our watchmakers are all masters of their trade, working with the most state-of-the-art equipment available.
But what makes us so different from our competition? Not only are we family owned and operated, we have direct parts accounts with many of the leading watch manufacturers in the world including: Rolex, Tag Heuer, Swatch Group (Omega,Tissot, etc.), Richemont, Movado, Concord, etc. Acquiring and maintaining these accounts involves a strict review process by these companies, and we complete all repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
Come see what we’re about, give us a visit in the 45th Street Passageway of Grand Central Station.
