Nets Come Out on Top in the First Battle of the Boroughs!

Last night, the Brooklyn Nets took on the New York Knicks in
the first of many rival games! The Nets went on to defeat the Knicks in a 96-89
overtime win!
This is only the first game in what will be an ongoing
battle of the boroughs for years to come! The Nets and Knicks will meet again
in Brooklyn on December 12th for round two!
Jerry Stackhouse hit a tie breaking 3 point shot with a little over three minutes to go in overtime.
Lopez had 22 points and Deron Williams scored 16 points and had 14 assists. For
the Knicks, Carmelo Anthony scored 35 points and Tyson Chandler finished the game
out with 28 points.
