Unique Timepiece Spotlight: IWC Schaffhausen’s Portugieser Annual Calendar “Tribeca Film Festival 2016”
IWC Schaffhausen’s passion for the world of film-making continues for the fourth consecutive year as the Official Festival Time Partner of the Tribeca Film Festival. In celebration of on going support of the event kicking off April 13th, IWC has created a limited edition timepiece to mark its sponsorship: The Portugieser Annual Calendar Tribeca Film Festival 2016.
Powered by the IWC- manufactured 52850 calibre, this timepiece is limited to just 50 pieces and exclusively available for purchase at IWC boutiques within the US. The watch boasts a stainless steel face and subtle slate-colored dial to reflect the streets of New York City. The small seconds subdial and power reserve display are burgundy in color to symbolize the red carpets often visible during award shows.
At the “12 o’clock”on the dial, you can find the annual calendar showing the day, week, and month in three separate, semicircular windows. As listed on the IWC website:
The watch comes with a black alligator leather strap, has a 7-day power reserve when fully wound, and will retail for $21,500.
