Unique Timepiece Spotlight: Harry Winston Countdown to a Cure
Earlier this month, Harry Winston unveiled its Countdown to a Cure Timepiece, a limited edition collection designed in honor of their second year partnership with amfaR, the American Foundation for Aids Research.
The Countdown to a Cure watches are part of the brand’s Midnight Collection, with only 20 men’s (retailing for $21,200) and 20 women’s (retailing for $16,200) pieces produced. As of February 10th, 20 percent of the retail sales of each watch purchased throughout 2016 will be donated to amfaR’s efforts to develop the scientific basis of a cure for HIV by 2020.
So far, Harry Winston has helped afaR raise more than $53 million and with this new timepiece, they further strengthen their commitment to amfaR’s mission.
The men’s watch features a 42mm white gold case and navy blue dial and the women’s 32mm model is set with 12 brilliant cut diamonds and 19 gemstones, including rubies and sapphires. All timepieces are being sold exclusively in Harry Winston boutiques world wide.
