#TravelThursday - Travel Watches

When traveling to different destinations around the world, we often spend time readjusting our timepieces to the proper time zone - and back again. Aside from travel alone, those of us with friends and business associates around the globe need to know the time in multiple locations at a glance. The solution? Sporting a watch with world-time functionality - like some of the below:

NOMOS Zurich Weltzeit - With this frequent flier on your wrist, you can travel the world in the push of a button and keep track of the time wherever you are: In Sydney or in Denver, in Alaska or New York. The home time is pointed to by a red arrow at 3 o’clock while a ring of cities around the dial’s perimeter is set by clicking the pusher on the side of the case. When the desired city is aligned with the arrow at 12 o’clock, its local time is indicated by the hands on the main dial.

Breitling Transocean Chronograph Unitime - The system uses two moving disks, one indicating 24 hours and the other bearing the names of 24 world cities representing the 24 major time zones. The time shown by the central hands corresponds with the timezone displayed at 12 o’clock.

Baume & Mercier Capeland Worldtimer - Perfect for tracking time in 24 timezones at once. The cities ring is fixed on the main dial with London at the 12 o’clock and Auckland at 6 and the two toned 24-hour ring rotates around it. Once you have the main time set, set the outer disc (at the city for your time zone) to match the 24 hour time. Voila! Now you can easily tell what time it is in Tokyo or Santiago.
