Central Watch in the News: Interview with MarketWatch
“It’s like comparing apples to oranges — literally.”
Yesterday our own Steve Kivel shed some light on the topic of wearables and true timepieces in an interview with MarketWatch. While yes, Steve is a loyal Apple user owning many Apple products, the new much-discussed Apple Watch is just another piece of machinery. We aren’t anticipating how this will affect business, if anything we may see a new stream of business from Apple Watch users who may simply be looking to fix up their watch band!
Overall, Steve sees potential for the Apple Watch to get a new generation interested in watches again. Perhaps after the fad of owning the Apple Watch settles, the purchasers may look to seek out a traditional watch - as after all, there’s nothing quite like a Rolex.
