Breitling Creates Commemorative ‘Pushpiece’ Timepiece
In 1915, Breitling was one of the first brands to offer a wrist chronograph - a major milestone in the history of watchmaking. To ensure a clearer separation of functions as well as smooth, ergonomic handling, the Swiss watch brand introduced a pushpiece independent of the crown located at the 2 o’clock position to control the three chronograph operations.
To commemorate the 100 year anniversary, Breitling has reinterpreted the famous 1915 pushpiece by releasing the special edition Transocean Chronograph 1915. This watch comes in a steel case and features the famous pushpiece at 2 o’clock (redesigned) with an exclusive new Manufacture Breitling calibre movement.
This model is issued in a limited series of 1,915 pieces - a true collectors piece for all chronograph aficionados!
