The great thing about swapping straps is it can be done to make your any well known timepiece suit your ensemble - or can make one of your lesser known watches appear to be above its actual pay scale.  

Purchase a pre-owned timepiece - Similar to cars, pre-owned watches depreciate value after their initial purchase; but, given their inherent values, live on to be sold and resold again.This is a good thing to consider in lieu of purchasing a brand new timepiece, plus they can come with wonderful stories and offer a special ownership experience.

Sell or trade watches - Wisely investing in timepieces that are known to retain value well, plus are continuously desired, is a great way to move value around without resorting to brand new purchases when you want something new. Becoming skilled at trading or selling unwanted pieces in your collection is a time honored approach for enjoying many luxury watches without needing the full budget for them all.
