Thanksgiving Dinner in NYC

 
Thanksgiving is right around the corner and to our friends living in New York City, trying to house guests and cook an entire feast in your NYC-sized kitchens can be a bit overwhelming. So let us give thanks to all NYC restaurants serving Thanksgiving dinner for a hassle-free holiday:

Bubby’s
Tribeca (120 Hudson St.) and High Line (73 Gansevoort St.)
Price: $75 (suggested donation, to benefit NYC Rescue Mission)
Enjoy a buffet-style dinner with holiday favorites like free roaming turkey with giblet gravy, glazed Duroc ham with spiced apricot sauce, cornbread sage stuffing, and of course, cranberry sauce. Reservations highly recommended and available between 3pm-11pm. Or opt for Thanksgiving Day Brunch until 1pm!

Chapter One
33 Greenwich Avenue, 10014
Price: $39, plus tax and gratuity
Celebrate Thanksgiving dinner the way the Pilgrims ate! At Chapter One, a tavern restaurant that opened this year, the chef provides a monthly series of historic dinners. The colonial menu will be served family style for Thanksgiving, consisting of roast venison or turkey, rye and cornmeal bread, and hard cider (the traditional drink during that time). Chef Baird will also provide a lively tutorial on the history of the food during dinner.

Dovetail

Price: $98
Have a vegetarian in your party? Dovetail is providing a 3-course prix fixed holiday menu for turkey lovers and turkey huggers. See them both here. Additionally, on Wednesday, Nov. 26th they’ll be serving warm spiced doughnuts, mulled wine and hot apple cider at the bar for a cozy holiday treat!

Desmond’s Steakhouse
513 7th Avenue. 10018
Price: $85, Children under 12 $25, plus tax and gratuity
Combining the liveliness of Time Square with a resplendent dining experience, Desmond’s Steakhouse has proudly become New York City’s premiere steakhouse with a contemporary twist. This year’s buffet style menu includes your traditional turkey with trimmings and sides, sliced filet mignon bordelaise, pumpkin ravioli with a walnut cream sauce, and pumpkin and pecan pies for desserts.
