Unique Timepiece Spotlight: HD3 Slyde Watch
So if you're a watchmaker, with no movement supplier - what do you do? Remove the movement altogether.
The HD3 Slyde Watch gets rid of the typical watch face and replaces it for a touchscreen, giving you an infinite variety of virtual timepieces easily changeable with a few quick taps and flicks.
Slyde's patented bi-axial navigation system shows every form of time:
- On the vertical axis - a variety of watch interfaces for the present time. Once you tap or slide your finger, you can select a display from the range of modules (animated and digital) and configure it to your personal preference. Each movement displays seven functions: time, date, time zones, a calendar, the moon phase, a chronograph and a countdown timer.
- On the horizontal axis - past and future time can be set. How long until your honeymoon? How many days since your child was born? Each frame can show the time elapsed since an occasion or the countdown of time remaining until the event with the use of personal photos.
How's that for a digital timepiece? Let us know what you think on our Facebook page!
