Unlike other watches that announce or display the time, a company called Eone developed a timepiece that tells time through touch! This wristwatch can be used discreetly, but most importantly - it's a watch for the blind.
So how does it work?
The Bradley has two ball bearings connected to a Swiss quartz moment via magnets; one bearing is on its face to indicate minutes, another on the side to indicate the hour. The hour and minute markers are large and textured and the marker for the 12th hour has a distinct shape.

Inspired by Bradley Snyder, an ex naval officer who lost his eyesight in an explosion in Afghanistan in 2011, and others like him, Eone wanted to create a product inclusive to all users; to diminish everyday obstacles for the impaired and under-represented. Bradley didn't let his loss of sight hold him back - he competed in and won gold and silver medals in swimming at the 2012 Paralympics in London.
For the visually impaired, The Bradley makes everyday life possible without drawing attention to their disability. While for sighted users, The Bradley offers a new, discrete way of telling time (dark movie theater, business meeting, etc.)
