What To Expect: Baselworld Opening Day

This year's highly anticipated event is finally here, Baselworld opening day. This annual exhibition gives watch fans world wide an opportunity to learn what leading brands will be selling in the common months - not to mention discover the most recent advances in horology.

So here’s what to expect: a first time exhibitor, Graff Diamonds, will be unveiling a $55 million “Hallucination” multicolored, diamond ladies watch at today’s event. This London based brand, known for making grand statements, created this new timepiece with 110 carats of rare, fancy colored diamonds - making it arguably one of, if not THE most valuable watch ever created.

Some other timepieces to keep your eye on, according to the Financial Times, are:
