The black titanium Porsche Design P’6520 tells the time with slick style. But it’s not only used for telling time and looking smooth - it also points you in the right direction.
The Porsche Design P'6520 Compass Watch uses its figure to split in half, with the upper portion used to tell time with a simple three-hand watch featuring a Swiss automatic Sellita caliber movement, titanium black PVD case, and AR-coated sapphire crystal. The bottom section presents a removable liquid compass that works in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres.
The case is water resistant to a depth of up to 50 meters. Both the watch and the bracelet are made completely of titanium with a black PVD coat (Physical Vapour Deposition). In case you aren’t familiar with the use of titanium for watches, there are more pros then cons. Titanium is essentially skin-friendly, lighter, half the weight of steel, and corrosion-resistant. In fact, titanium is the perfect material to use for a compass since it is not magnetic and will not affect the magnetic needle.
