Remember those pinpression toys? Well here's a watch that puts a pin-art spin on a mechanical-digital display.

The Opus 8, developed by Harry Winston and Frederic Garinaud, works by using a complicated system of mechanical pixels that rise up from the display ONLY when the user activates a small lever on the side of the timepiece.

The mechanism links all of the functions together; the minute drives the hour, which drives the AM/PM, so that everything can be displayed on demand - otherwise nothing will appear until activated.

The Opus 8 was limited to just 50 watches and rumor has it that all 50 pieces were sold out before their unveiling!
