Patek Phillipe Anniversary Timepiece Unveils for $2.6 Million

For the Patek Phillipe watch enthusiasts out there with $2.6 million dollars burning a hole in their pocket - look no further than the new Grandmaster Chime timepiece. But no, you can’t just write a check and take it home - you actually have to apply for an interview to prove your passion for Patek to the company’s president!

To commemorate its 175th anniversary, Patek has developed its most expensive and complicated wristwatch ever built. Featuring 18k gold and sapphire crystals, this new timepiece features 6 new patents as well as 20 complications! Plus, the dual-face can be turned to reveal the calendar or the time.

Only seven Grandmaster Chimes will be produced, with one remaining in the company private museum in Geneva. For buyers seriously interested, they must be interviewed by Thierry Stern first. "I would like to chat with the client and make sure he's a watch lover and make sure he's going to enjoy the watch for many years.”
