A Look at the ’24: Live Another Day’ Watch
Earlier last month, “24: Live Another Day” premiered on Fox,
and if you were one of the 8 million viewers who tuned in for the premiere, you
might have noticed key characters donning a very special timepiece – the CTU1
24 Watch.
It’s not just a prop, either. According to Hollywood
Reporter, “the producers of 24: Live Another Day reached out to the U.S.
Agency Watch Company to create a genuine watch befitting the fast-paced show.”
In just under 10 weeks, the company designed and manufactured six working
watches. What an impressive feat!
Best of all (for fans, at least), the watch will be
available to the public this July for just $249 apiece. Not bad if you consider
its features: a large, military-style frame, two 12-hour time zone dials, and a
working analog compass.
For those who don’t love its busy look and hefty price tag,
a simpler, three-hand CTU model will also be available for just $99.95.
