Times Square for the Ball Drop - Midtown West
When it comes to NYE in Times Square, you’ll want to arrive by 3pm or earlier to stake out a spot in the Broadway-Seventh Avenue area, and stay put. There are no public restrooms or food vendors, so leaving means you’ll be giving up your prime real estate. Starting at 6pm, you’ll be front and center for performances held across two stages and a burst of pyrotechnics every hour on the hour through 11pm leading up to the infamous ball drop at a minute to midngiht.

New Year’s Eve Fireworks - Prospect Park
For a free and low-key New Year’s Eve, head over to Grand Army Plaza at 11pm to snag a free cup of hot cocoa and listen to some live music. Be prepared for fireworks at midnight - the best vantage points are at Grand Army Plaza, inside the park on West Drive and along Prospect Park West between Grand Army Plaza and 9th Street.  

ZEPHYR New Year's Eve Cruise - Pier 16
Join Circle Line's New Year's Eve Cruise aboard the ZEPHYR which includes stationed Hors d’ Oeuvres, dinner buffet, beer/wine/soft drinks, complimentary champagne toast or sparkling cider at midnight, live DJ, and TVs for the ball drop. Spend the night dancing under fireworks to ring in 2016! Tickets are $250 per person, ages 14 and up and can be secured here.

Great Gatsby Inspired New Years - Lower East Side
For those of you looking to celebrate New Year’s by pretending to be from the past, Beauty & Essex is hosting a Great Gatsby themed five hour open bar complete with food, a champagne toast, and live roaring twenties-style performances. Tickets are $250 per person and can be secured here.
